CargoSea Freight is the trading name of CARGO DYNAMIC LTD, a UK-registered business focused on one narrow piece of the supply chain: moving containers along the coast by feeder vessel. We are not a full-service freight forwarder trying to cover every mode. We book space on short-sea services, arrange the haulage at each end where it is needed, and keep the paperwork in order so the box keeps moving.

The work is routine, which is exactly why it has to be done properly. A 20ft or 40ft container leaving a major hub port for a smaller regional port has a narrow window to make its connection. Miss that window and the cargo sits for a week. We plan around vessel schedules, terminal cut-offs and tide-dependent berths, and we tell you plainly when a sailing is tight rather than promising a date we cannot hold.

Most of our enquiries come from importers and exporters who use feeder services because their nearest port cannot take the ocean vessel. That includes food and drink producers, building materials suppliers, and manufacturers moving components between UK and near-continent facilities. We also work with other forwarders who need a reliable coastal leg without setting up their own carrier relationships.

Every route has its own quirks. Some terminals require bookings days in advance. Some ports only accept certain equipment types. Some sailings are weather-dependent in winter. We keep a working knowledge of these details so you do not have to learn them from scratch each time you move a box. If a route is not viable, we will say so and suggest an alternative.

We are small enough that the person who answers your enquiry is the person who handles the booking. There is no call centre and no automated handoff. You get a named contact who knows your cargo, your port pair and your schedule, and who will flag problems before they become delays.
